Exciting new stuff from Ford: The 2011 F-100 and Bronco

Ford will discontinue the popular Ranger next year, and will subsequently re-launch a new midsize truck, to be known as the F-100. The new F-100 will be available in showrooms late 2010 as a 2011 model year vehicle. The new F-100 pickup truck will be built on a chopped lightweight version of the F-150 platform, and is supposed to be approximately 4/5ths the size of a current F-150. Buyers will get their choice of V-6 or V-8 powerplants - the 250hp, 3.5L twin-turbo direct-injection V-6 will be the standard offering while the 4.4L V-8 will be available on the more upscale trim packages. The F-100 will be available in many passenger cab configurations - including a genuine five-seater crew similiar to the Sport Trac.

2008 Dodge Charger Overview

The Dodge Charger is a large yet sleek sedan that shares components with the Dodge Magnum station wagon. It looks cool, drives well, and exudes the American muscle-car mystique, but lacks refinement. Rear-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional on SXT and R/T versions. The base V6 engine is peppy yet efficient; two optional V8 engines really kick up the performance (and price). The Charger SRT8 is fast enough to keep pace with European sport sedans that cost more than twice as much. The Chrysler 300 is a more upscale version of the Charger.
